AUGUSTINE CASINO TO GIVE THEIR TEAM MEMBERS THE GIFT OF EARLY CLOSURE ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND LATE MORNING REOPENING ON CHRISTMAS DAY
Coachella, CA – The Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians announced today that they will be giving Augustine Casino team members the gift of early closure on Christmas Eve and a late morning reopening on Christmas Day. This is a first for the casino, which has traditionally maintained regular business hours on the holidays.
“We are so grateful for our team members’ hard work and dedication, and we want to show them our appreciation by giving them the time to celebrate the holidays with their families and loved ones,” said Amanda Augustine, Tribal Chairperson.
The decision to close at 10 pm on Christmas Eve and reopen at 11 am on Christmas Day was made after careful consideration of the impact on the business. Augustine Casino is confident that it can continue to provide its guests with excellent service while giving its team members the time off they deserve.
“We know that the holidays are a special time for our team members, and we want to do everything we can to make sure they have a chance to relax and enjoy themselves,” said Mark Mohrmann, General Manager.
The casino will close the evening of Christmas at 2 am and resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday, December 26.
